LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Open Theatre Project acknowledges that the land where our home base neighborhood, colonially known as Jamaica Plain in Boston, MA, is in the territory of the Massachusett people, and our extended collaborative community resides on the land of the Pawtucket, Mashpee Wampanoag, Aquinnah Wampanoag, and Nipmuc Peoples who have stewarded this land for hundreds of generations. We also affirm that this acknowledgement is insufficient and commit to advocate for indigenous peoples in authentic and intentional ways
